Sent to lawmaker

EDITOR:

I sent the following e-mail to Assemblyman John Carpenter:

"Assemblyman Carpenter:

I note that the Nevada Appeal reported that you had "been talking to the Lord and the Lord says it's still OK to vote for this" to override of the governor's veto of the budget and higher taxes.

Since you apparently have a direct connection to the Lord, please ask him the following questions and send me his response - hurry please:

1) Where do I get the money to pay the higher taxes?

2) Where will I get the money to support my family and pay my mortgage when I lose my job because the business I work for can no longer afford to pay me because of the higher taxes they must pay?

3) Where will I live because I have lost my home to foreclosure?

I look forward to your prompt reply - time is of the essence!"

I anxiously awaiting Assemblyman Carpenter's reply.
