Health care bill must be read carefully

This message is in regard to President Obama's proposed health care program. It would behoove everyone to watch a video on www.pjtv.com and click on "Canadian Health Care - Exposed." This was e-mailed to me from a lady in Vancouver, Canada. The video takes approximately 21 minutes and you can then be the judge if this is what you want imposed upon you. After viewing the video I did write to our elected officials in Washington, D.C. and stated I would be happy to have the same health care that they, themselves, receive. Since we pay for their perks, we should enjoy the same. I also requested a reply.

This past Saturday we received a petition to sign and return to AARP asking John Ensign, Dean Heller and Harry Reid for a better health care program. I am all for a better plan, but AARP neglected to mention that out of the 46 million people without health care - more than 9 million are immigrants or illegal aliens. They also neglected to mention that out of the 46 million more than 17 million elected not to accept health care offered by their employer (since they would have to pay for a portion) or just refused to purchase their own insurance.

We were told by a friend last year he didn't want to buy insurance because it was too expensive, but he did have enough money for a motorcycle that cost over $10,000. Unfortunately, for him, he wiped out and his doctor's bill was more than $10,000 and that didn't include the hospital. Ironic, isn't it?

People should also know who is part author of President Obama's health care program. He is Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel, brother of Rahm Emanuel, and possibly Dr. Peter Singer. If you recall, Dr. Singer is the physician that stated he was for full term abortion and even up to 28 days after birth. Wouldn't you call that murder? You see with the proposed insurance program a child with a physical defect is not considered productive and will get little or no care. The elderly will be shoved to the back of the line

Please write your elected officials and after viewing that video, make your own decision as to what care you want. You should also ask that all bills be read before any vote is taken. You can reach the President and Congress by going to www.congress.org. Just be aware of what your future will be if this proposed insurance program is implemented.
