Thanks from Block D

EDITOR:

On behalf of Douglas High School and the Block D Letterman's Club, we want to thank the community and the numerous contributors and supporters of our club.

First, thank you to all of the Block D sponsors. Your generosity and fiscal support have enabled Block D to accomplish a number of great projects.

Second, we'd like to thank the Barone and Reed Food Co. for sponsoring this year's Block D Memorial Dinner. Alan and Dana Reed have shown a great deal of generosity and kindness in hosting the yearly event. Finally, thank you to the community for supporting the Molly Lahlum Scholarship Memorial Dinner. It was a first class event that demonstrated the unbelievable community we all live in. The outpouring of support for the Lahlum family and Block D was tremendous and powerful.

Again, thank you for all of the support and concern for our student-athletes. Douglas High School is a great place and our student-athletes are second to none.
