With the exception of two driver education classes, the Douglas
campus of Western Nevada College will be closed until Aug. 3. Two
dozen web-based classes that begin June 8, are serving Douglas
County residents during the summer term, and classes are available at the
WNC Carson City campus.
The director of the college's Information and Marketing Department,
Anne Hansen, said telephone calls to the Douglas campus will automatically
be forwarded to the reception desk on the Carson City campus, or inquiries
can be made directly to the Carson City campus at 445-3000.
The Douglas campus will reopen Aug. 3 to serve students for the
fall semester, which begins Aug. 31. Nearly 100 different on-site
classes will be offered this fall, along with dozens of online classes.
