WNC fall classes PR

More than 1,100 classes are filling up at Western Nevada College's three campuses, five learning centers, and online for the fall semester. They range from traditional college courses in English, math, history and science to specialized technology and work force skills courses in dozens of areas. Classes begin Aug. 27.

Students can access the fall class schedule and register at www.wnc.edu. Those without access to a computer can use terminals at the college campuses in Carson City, Fallon and Minden, at teaching centers in Fernley, Hawthorne, Lovelock, Smith Valley and Yerington, or at local libraries.

WNC has diverse academic programs and classes that can lead to careers in computers, health, education, law enforcement, business, and many other fields. WNC also offers a new bachelor of technology degree in construction management, along with certificates, associate degrees, and classes that transfer to four-year colleges or universities.
