Caitlyn Clare Strauser

A celebration of life is being planned for former Douglas High School student Caitlyn Clare Strauser, 20, who died July 20, 2009, in Wolf Creek, Ore.

Born Oct. 20, 1988, to Robert "B.J." Strauser and Beverly J. Strauser-Wood, she attended Douglas High during the 2003-04 school year.

She is preceded in death by grandparents Woody and Jo Wood of Washington.

She is survived by father B.J. Strauser of Gardnerville; mother, Beverly J. Wood of Wolf Creek; grandparents, Bob and Belle Strauser of Milwaukie, Ore.; and numerous extended family.

Memorial donations may be made to the Family Support Council women's shelter in Strauser's name.
