Carson Valley Inn entertainment

The Palmore Brothers band continues in the Carson Valley Inn Cabaret Lounge through Sunday and the Lord/Quinn Duo takes the stage July 27- Aug. 3.

The Palmore Brothers band performs rhythm & blues, pop and classics. Keyboardist John Palmore and bassist Charles Palmore formerly played with The Drifters and worked with Jackie Wilson, Mary Wells, ZZ Hill, Wilson Pickett, Lou Rawls, Lionel Richie and BB King. The band includes Vernon Taylor on lead vocals and keyboards and Daniel McGowen on drums.

Lord/Quinn is Stephen Lord on guitar and vocals and Tony Quinn on guitar, keyboards and vocals. The duo have a 1,000-song repertoire of oldies, country, pop, blues, jazz, soul and rock 'n' roll.
