Meredith Lynn Anello, daughter of Mike and Mary Ann Anello of Maumee, Ohio, and Andrew "Andy" Paul Ringnes, son of Don and Cathy Bombardier of Gardnerville and Brad and Teresa Ringnes of Southern California, have announced their engagement.
The wedding is planned for July 12, 2008, on the beach at South Lake Tahoe.
The bride-to-be, originally from Maumee, is a 1999 graduate of Notre Dame Academy in Ohio and a 2006 graduate of Miami University of Ohio with a bachelor's degree in zoology and environmental science. She is a youth volunteer program coordinator and visitors program educator at the Audubon Zoo in New Orleans.
The future groom is a 1999 graduate of Coleville High School and a 2003 graduate of the University of San Diego with a bachelor of science in biology and biochemistry. He is a medical student at Tulane University in New Orleans.
The future groom's grandmother is Betty Camp of Walker and his sister Nikki Ringnes lives in San Diego. The couple met while working as wildland firefighters for the U.S. Forest Service working at the Bridgeport and Topaz stations.
