East Fork Swimming Pool District trustees are meeting at 7 a.m. today. Among the items on their agenda is the replacement of trustee Kyle Hamilton. The district meets at the Carson Valley Swim Center.
We've heard that pot farmer James Gilbert is in custody in South Lake Tahoe. It may be too early to call off the dogs, but we'll let you know as soon as we get confirmation.
Today's weather is forecast to be breezy, with 10-20 mph winds gusting to 35 mph. The high today will be a balmy 55 degrees. It will cool off a little bit, and then the highs are back up into the 50s by the weekend. It's very warm out there right now, with Minden showing 45 degrees and Genoa at 47. That will feel cooler in the wind.
