Square dancers of all abilities are invited to participate in the filming of a documentary on square dancing at the CVIC Hall in Minden on Feb. 28.
The B Sharps documentary film company will shoot a film based on the 61-year career of square dance caller Larry Ward, who recently moved to Carson Valley to teach ballroom and square dancing.
The first session is 2-5 p.m. and will feature exhibitions in square, round and ballroom dancing. There is no charge.
The second session at 7-10 p.m. features rounds between alternating mainstream and plus-square dancing. Cost for the second session is $7.
