'Chicken' on Saturday

Student-Senior Day is Saturday at the Carson Valley Museum & Cultural Center, 1477 Highway 395, Gardnerville. Screenings of the 1949 movie, 'Chicken Every Sunday,' at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Part of the movie was filmed in Carson Valley and stars Celeste Holm and Dan Dailey. Museum tours led by costumed docents, 10 a.m. noon and 2 p.m. Free admission for seniors and students with accompanying adult on the first Saturday of the month. Information, 782-2555.
