Death of boy still under investigation

The death of an 11-year-old boy in his home on Kingsbury Grade is still under investigation by the Douglas County Sheriff's Office.

The boy was found hanging from a banister by a cord with a slip knot in it on Monday evening.

Tahoe Douglas paramedics tried to revive him, but were unsuccessful.

The boy's identity has not been released by the Sheriff's Office.
