11-year-old Kingsbury boy found dead in home

The death of an 11-year-old Kingsbury boy on Monday is being investigated by the Douglas County Sheriff's Office.

The boy was found hanging in his home on Tina Court at 6:25 p.m. after the sheriff's office received a report.

Attempts to revive the boy by Tahoe Douglas firefighters were unsuccessful, according to Sgt. Jim Halsey.

It was the second death investigation in a half hour Monday night.

A 33-year-old Glenbrook man was found dead in a Mason Court home. The man was found lying in bed. Halsey said narcotics were discovered inside the home, but it wasn't known whether they had anything to do with the man's death.

Investigations are continuing in both cases, Halsey said. The names of both decedents are being withheld pending investigation.

"Initial investigation reveals no evidence of foul play in either case," he said.
