The Valley Cruisers 22nd annual Main Street Event is Friday through Sunday in Lampe Park and downtown Minden. Events include show and shine, barbecue dinner, swap meet, car corral, music and poker run.
Check-in is 3-6 p.m. Friday in Lampe Park in Gardnerville, with registration from 5-8 p.m. in downtown Minden. Friday's events on Esmeralda Avenue include a barbecue dinner at the CVIC Hall and a street dance to live music.
Events in Lampe Park on Saturday begin with show and shine check-in and pancake breakfast from 7-10 a.m. Continuing until 4 p.m. are the swap meet and car corral, music by Time Warp, the Stars & Cars Show, and drawings for raffle prizes.
Events from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday in Lampe Park include a poker run, continental breakfast, swap meet, car corral and show and shine.
Spaces are available for the car corral and swap meet running Saturday and Sunday in Lampe Park. The car corral offers the opportunity to sell classic or new cars at an entry fee of $25 for two days. Swap meet spaces are also $25 for two days. Contact Diana Lombard at 265-3654.
