Cruisin' at Main Street Event

The Valley Cruisers 22nd annual Main Street Event is Aug. 14-16 in Lampe Park and downtown Minden. Events include show and shine, barbecue dinner, swap meet, music and poker run.

Check-in is 3-6 p.m. Aug. 14 in Lampe Park in Gardnerville, with registration from 5-8 p.m. Aug. 14 in downtown Minden. Events on Esmeralda Avenue include a barbecue dinner at the CVIC Hall and a street dance to live music.

Events in Lampe Park on Aug. 15 begin with show and shine check-in and pancake breakfast from 7-10 a.m. Continuing until 4 p.m. are the swap meet and car corral, music by Time Warp, the Stars & Cars Show, and drawings for raffle prizes.

Events from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Aug. 16 in Lampe Park include a poker run, continental breakfast, swap meet, car corral and show and shine.
