The Douglas County Sheriff's Office is looking for the owners of unclaimed property including jewelry and coins believed to have been stolen during a series of residential burglaries.
Sheriff's Sgt. Jim Halsey said officers believe the items were taken in more than 20 burglaries committed by Timothy Morgan and Vanessa Gomez who were sentenced to prison last month.
Halsey said the pair committed so many burglaries, they couldn't remember where some of the item were taken.
He said some victims may not even know their homes were broken into.
Anyone who wants to make a claim is asked to call Investigator Ed Garren, 782-9908 and describe the missing item in detail.
