CVI Mother's Day dining


The Carson Valley Inn celebrates Mother's Day on May 10 with a Mother's Day brunch buffet in the Shannon Ballroom, Sunday brunch in Fiona's Bar and Grill inside the Carson Valley Inn and Mother's Day dinner specials in Fiona's and Katie's Country Kitchen.

The all-you-can-eat brunch buffet is 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Shannon Ballroom includes breakfast and lunch dishes, carving stations, custom omelets, salads, pastries and desserts.

Brunch in Fiona's is from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. features entree with champagne and unlimited trips to Fiona's brunch bar of salads, fruits, pastries and desserts.

Dinner is 4:30-9 p.m. in Fiona's with regular dinner menu plus specials of rack of lamb with pinot noir jam and scallops and shrimp sambuca over black and white pasta. Reservations for brunch or dinner in Fiona's, 783-6650.

Katie's Country Kitchen serves Mother's Day specials of Dungeness crab benedict from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and steak and lobster from 4-9 p.m.
