Haley Simpson and Jason Gwinn are engaged to be married July 10, 2009, at Capital Christian Center in Carson.

Simpson is the daughter of Brenda Simpson of Carson City. She is a 2005 graduate of Carson High School and is a business major at the University of Nevada, Reno. She is employed by Greater Nevada Credit Union.

Gwinn is the son of Keith Gwinn of Nez Perce, Idaho, and Melinda LaPointe of Gardnerville. He is a 2003 graduate of Douglas High School and is a student of criminal justice at Western Nevada College. He is employed with Snap-On Tools.
