Heart saver class at medical center

Staff Reports

Would you know what to do if someone was having a heart attack, or if your child began choking? No one wants to think about these scenarios, but they could happen. The best thing to do is learn how to respond when an emergency occurs. Your response could mean the difference between life and death.

Carson Valley Medical Center offers a HeartSaver AED course taught by American Heart Association instructors. The course teaches CPR for adults, children and infants and other life-saving techniques.

Class is 9 a.m. to noon April 21 in the Carson Valley Medical Center administration building, 1107 Highway 395, Gardnerville. Cost is $25. Register at 783-4815.
