Second Saturday at East Fork

Carson Valley Inn entertainment

Major Link continues in the Carson Valley Inn's Cabaret Lounge through Monday and Blue Flame plays Tuesday through April 19.

Live entertainment presented with no cover and no minimum with five 45-minute shows starting on the hour at 7 p.m. Sunday through Thursday nights, and 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

San Francisco Bay area band Major Link is Terry Saunders on guitar and Mary Owens on keyboards and vocals, who cover pop, R&B and rock 'n' roll.

Blue Flame is Melissa Dru on lead vocals, electric and acoustic guitars and percussion with Mick Hampson on lead guitar and vocals. Together they bring music from a variety of eras.

The Carson Valley Inn celebrates Easter with dining specials in Fiona's Bar and Grill and Katie's Country Kitchen. Fiona's Easter brunch is served 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. with lunch and dinner specials offered until 9 p.m.

'Hollywood Arms'

Carson Valley Community Theatre presents the Broadway play, 'Hollywood Arms,' at the CVIC Hall in Minden. The comedic by Carol Burnett and daughter Carrie Hamilton and is based on Burnett's memoir, 'One More Time.'

Performances are 7 p.m. today and Saturday, and April 17 and 18; at 5 p.m. Sunday and 2 p.m. April 19. Tickets are $15 general, $12 students and seniors. Group sales, $10.
