Entertainment at Buckaroos

The Rustlers play, 8 p.m. to midnight tonight. The Rustlers cover hard-core country music by Montgomery Gentry, Alan Jackson, Brooks & Dunn and Dierks Bently. The Carson City-based band is Ev Musselman on guitar and lead vocals, Larry Goldman bass guitar and vocals, Brian Williams on lead guitar and vocals, Jim Park on pedal steel guitar and Russ Hohenberger drums and vocals.

Musicians of any acoustic instrument of any level of experience or those who don't play but want to sing along are welcome. Carson Valley Inn entertainment

Blue Flame continues in the Carson Valley Inn's Cabaret Lounge through Sunday, the Gardners play Monday and Matrix appears April 21-26.

Live entertainment presented with no cover and no minimum with five 45-minute shows starting on the hour at 7 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

Blue Flame is Melissa Dru on lead vocals, electric and acoustic guitars and percussion, and Mick Hampson on lead guitar and vocals, who bring music from a variety of eras.

M8trix performs the best of '70s, '80s, '90s, Motown, R&B, pop and jazz, Latin and disco. The band is led by vocalist Stephanya and is rounded out with guitarist Mark Daniels, Michael Harper on bass, drummer Adam Lipsky and Moogie Clemon on keyboards.

Local folk-rock duo Ten Dollar Pony performs, 7-9 p.m. tonight, in the ArtBar at the Copeland Cultural Arts Center in Minden.

The duo is Larry Nair on guitar and vocals and Beth Oliveto on percussion and vocals, who perform original rock, Latin and blues-inspired music.

Liz Broscoe's Journey of the Drum presentation is 7-9 p.m. April 24 in the ArtBar at the arts center. Admission is $10.

Broscoe's introduction djembe drum workshop is 1-3 p.m. April 25 at the arts center. Cost is $25 with your drum, $35 with Broscoe's drum. A portion of the proceeds benefits the Carson Valley Arts Council.

'Hollywood Arms'

Carson Valley Community Theatre presents the Broadway play, "Hollywood Arms," at the CVIC Hall in Minden.

The comedic drama was written by Carol Burnett and daughter Carrie Hamilton and is based on Burnett's 1986 memoir, "One More Time."
