Employment assistance offered at Minden library

The Douglas County Public Library hosts a free employment assistance workshop, 10 a.m. to noon April 16, at 1625 Library Lane in Minden. Michelle Garton and Christina Slade of Nevada JobConnect will cover resume writing, online job searching and labor market information.

Garton offers free one-on-one assistance with resume preparation, cover letters, mock interviews, online job searches and applications, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 18.

Bring employment and resume information. Additional appointments available April 25, May 16 and May 30.
