Family bicycle tour

The Discover Carson Valley family bicycle tour is Saturday. Registration is 8:30 a.m. at the Copeland Cultural Arts Center, 1572 Highway 395, Minden. Refreshments at 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Design your own route with a choice of four routes ranging from 5-25 miles in Minden, Gardnerville, East Valley and Fish Springs. Helmets required. Poker run to benefit Austin's House

All types of vehicles welcome at the third annual Austin's House Poker Run on Saturday. Registration is 9-10 a.m. at Century 21 in Minden. The entry fee of $25, plus $15 for a second rider, includes prize for the best poker hand, live music by Dean Brownell and barbecue at Heritage Park.
