Alpine County searchers are looking for a missing person in the Markleeville area.
Searchers were called out at 4:16 p.m. in order to aid deputies.
They are tracking footprints, based on shoes found in a vehicle.
At least part of the search is focused along Hangman's Bridge just downstream from Markleeville.
