A celebration of life will be 1-4 p.m. Tuesday at 2246 Idaho Ave. in South Lake Tahoe for longtime Lake resident Dana L. Payne, 56, who died at home on March 30, 2009, after a battle with cancer.
Born July 26, 1952, he was the information technology manager at the Carson Valley Inn. He enjoyed skiing, hiking, sailing and all that Tahoe had to offer.
Mr. Payne is survived by his longtime girlfriend Jay Lyn Marvin; his parents and a brother, all of whom live in the Bay area. Call (530) 544-5248 for directions to the celebration.
