Vehicle fire caused by car accident reported outside Topaz Lodge

Emergency personnel responded to a traffic accident that caused a vehicle fire on Highway 395 outside Topaz Lodge around 3:35 p.m. on Tuesday.

A full-sized pickup truck was on fire from the accident, but emergency personnel quickly doused the flames.

Two injuries were reported. Care Flight was called for one patient.

Traffic was stopped in the southbound lane.
