Rain is out of the forecast this morning and a high wind warning expires at 7 a.m. on this Saturday morning. It might actually turn out to be a pretty nice day in more sheltered areas, with a high 57 and winds 10-15 mph. There's the potential for gusts of up to 45 mph.
Gusts hit 47 mph in Fish Springs early this morning. The peak gust in the Ranchos was 35 mph. Right now the wind is coming out of the southeast at about 20 mph. The temperature is 53 degrees at sunrise. The only road control is a high wind warning through Washoe Valley.
