Children's theater auditions Tuesday

The Douglas County Children's Theater holds auditions for a professional youth adaptation of the Broadway musical, "Bye Bye Birdie," 3 p.m. July 1 at the Dance Workshop, 1697 County Road, Minden. Everyone, age 7-18, will be cast in the show and no experience is necessary.

Performances will be Sept. 5-7 with practices throughout the summer. Each participant will receive a minimum of 48 hours of training in singing, acting and dancing. Cost is $100 plus a $90 supply fee for costumes, script, practice CD and cast party.
