The Washoe Tribe of Nevada and California is planning to honor Native American students who've had success in school.
An elementary school program will be 7 p.m. May 8 at Meneley Elementary School and 6 p.m. May 28 at Diamond Valley School in Woodfords.
A middle school program will be 7 p.m. April 30 at the Washoe Housing Authority located on the Dresslerville reservation in Gardnerville.
A high school program will be 6 p.m. May 1 in the Carson Colony Gym.
