Faith Christian Academy finishes first season

Competing in its first athletic season, Faith Christian Academy recently wrapped up the track and field season on a positive note.

Several student-athletes received medals or ribbons at the Tah-Neva Conference Middle School Track and Field Championships on May 23 at Carson Middle School.

Aspen Abbott, a sixth-grader competing in the seventh-grade division, finished third in the long jump, third in the 400 and fourth in the triple jump.

She also teamed with Victoria Jackson, Emily Stewart and Sierra Stulac in the 4x100 to take fifth.

Stulac finished fourth in the long jump and seventh-grader Tyler Radtke finished fifth in the 200.

Over the course of the season, all 12 Faith Christian athletes placed either indivually or as a relay team at at least one track meet.
