Faith Christian Academy, a middle school based in the Gardnerville Ranchos, completed its first cross country season this fall.
Aspen Abbott won the seventh-grade female league title at the Tah-Neva League Middle School Cross Country Championships on Oct. 19.
Abbott also finished first in three other meets this season.
Faith Christian fielded a team of seven runners consisting of sixth-, seventh- and eighth-grade students.
Jim and Deanna Abbott coached the team.
