Douglas graduate married in November

Eva Jones and Matthew O'Dell, both of Reno, were married at 4 p.m. Nov. 4, 2006, at the Grand Sierra Resort in Reno.

The bride was attended by her sister, Michaela Jones of Minden as her maid of honor, with friends Stephanie Stugart and Jeannie Spitzer as her bridesmaids. Joseph O'Dell, brother of the groom, was best man, with friends Jared Stockton and Brandon Ewers as his attendants. The bride was given in marriage by her stepfather, Walt Washington.


The bride, a 2003 graduate of Douglas High School who attended Truckee Meadows Community College and University of Nevada Reno, is the daughter of Martie and Walt Washington and the late Michael Jones of Minden. She is currently employed in customer service at Greater Nevada Credit Union.

The groom, son of Kay Spangler of Roanoke, Va., and Russ O'Dell of Kentucky, was a 2000 graduate of Northside High School in Roanoke and then attended Virginia Western College in Roanoke. He is currently employed by Hopkins Distribution.

A reception followed the ceremony at the Grand Sierra Resort and was attended by 65 guests.


The couple resides in Reno.
