Amber and Jim Kneeland of Minden will be celebrating their 55th wedding anniversary. They were married Feb. 10, 1952, in the St. Lawrence O'Tooles Catholic Church in Oakland, Calif.
The couple lived in the Bay area for 40 years and retired to Minden 15 years ago.
Jim retired from the fire service after 30 years and Amber retired from Mervyns. They have two daughters, Vicki Calkins and Cindy Filberth as well as two granddaughters, Tina Calkins and Liz Filberth.
