Updates on Douglas Grads for the week ending April 8, 2007

BASEBALL

Bryan Miller, jr., OF, Troy University: Miller is batting .250 on the year with two doubles, one triple and four RBIs.

Cal Lewis, sr., 3B, South Dakota State: Had an RBI in a 10-3 win over North Dakota State.

Chris Honer, soph., P, Point Loma: Honer is carrying a 2.84 ERA with a 1-1 record with 12 strikeouts in 19 innings pitched. The Sealions are 23-11 overall on the year and 17-9 in conference play.

Shane Cauley, jr., OF, Chico State: Cauley doubled with an RBI and a run scored in a 12-5 win over Biola. He also went 1-for-2 with a sacrifice bunt in a 7-0 win over Biola.

D.J. Brady, fr., OF, Mesa College: Mesa is 22-19 overall and 9-15 in conference play.

Chad Walling, soph., INF, Western Nevada: Walling is 8-for-8 on stolen base attempts this season. The Wildcats are 22-19-1 overall and 16-12 in conference play.

SOFTBALL

Kristy Olsen, jr., 3B/OF, Iowa State: Olsen is batting .221 on the year with two doubles, six RBIs and 16 stolen bases. Iowa State is 20-30 on the year overall with an 0-6 record in Big 12 conference play.

Brittany Puzey, soph., OF, Nevada: The Wolf Pack is currently on a nine-game win streak. Puzey is batting .312 on the year with 13 doubles, eight home runs, a team-leading 36 RBIs and five stolen bases.

Valerie Smith, soph., C, Columbia: Smith is batting .310 with five doubles, one home run and 11 RBIs.

TRACK & FIELD

Daniel Sipko, jr., Eastern Oregon: Did not compete last week.

Ryan Bertucci, fr., Chico State: Did not compete last week.
