Updates on Douglas HIgh graduates for the week ending April 1, 2007





BASEBALL


Bryan Miller, jr., OF, Troy University: The Trojans lost two of three against Western Kentucky over the weekend.


Cal Lewis, sr., 3B, South Dakota State: Went 3-for-6 with a home run in a 17-3 win, went 1-for-5 with a home run and three RBIs in a 10-9 win and went 2-for-3 in a 7-5 loss in a three-game series against Utah Valley State over the weekend. Lewis has six home runs on the season.


Chris Honer, soph., P, Point Loma: Pitched two perfect innings with one strikeout in a 4-3 loss to The Master's.


Shane Cauley, jr., OF, Chico State: Split a four-game series against Cal State Stanislaus over the weekend.


D.J. Brady, fr., OF, Mesa College: Mesa is 21-18 overall and 8-14 in conference play.


Chad Walling, soph., INF, Western Nevada: Walling scored a run in a 2-1 loss, scored a run in a 9-5 win, went 1-for-1 with a stolen base in a 4-3 win and played in a 4-3 loss as the Wildcats split a series with the Community College of Southern Nevada over the weekend.




SOFTBALL


Kristy Olsen, jr., 3B/OF, Iowa State: Olsen went 1-for-3 in a 10-1 loss as the Cyclones dropped two games to Oklahoma State over the weekend.


Brittany Puzey, soph., OF, Nevada: Puzey had a monster weekend, driving in five runs, scoring four, hitting two doubles and a home run as the Wolf Pack swept four games at its home tournament.


Valerie Smith, soph., C, Columbia: Went 1-for-4 in a 2-1 win and went 3-for-4 with a run scored in a 6-2 win as Columbia swept Harvard.




TRACK & FIELD
