Douglas grad to marry

The wedding ceremony of Kristen E. Valentine, daughter of Laura and Matt Valentine, all of Gardnerville and Keith Goff of Reno, son of Jim Goff and Susie Shea of California, will be 3 p.m. Oct. 14 in Reno with the Minister Dawna Mantei performing the ceremony.


The bride, given in marriage by her father, Matt Valentine, will be attended by Amie Miller, maid of honor, best friend of the bride, and bridesmaid Sara Miller, also a friend. Flower girls will be Cierah and Jade Lindsay, cousins of the bride with her brother, Rhys Valentine as ring bearer.


The groom will be attended by Blake Edenbach as best man and his brother Bryan Goff as an attendant.


A reception for the couple will be at the Cantina, attended by 80 guests following the ceremony.


The bride is a 2004 graduate of Douglas High School and is currently employed by a school-based PATH Program at University of Nevada, Reno. The groom is a 2001 graduate of Washington State University and is employed as the director of children's programs at Sugar Bowl.


The couple plans to make their home in Reno.
