Douglas and Coyla Struthers of Douglas County will be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. The celebration of their life together will be at the Carson Valley Inn, in Gardnerville, on Saturday, Sept. 23.
The happy couple was married Sept. 17, 1957, in Macoupin County, Ill. But they have lived most of their lives in the Carson Valley area.
Also celebrating the anniversary will be their four children, Jana Marie Williams of Reno, Allisa Hughes of Simi Valley, Dina Stultz of Carson City and Teresa Bond of Gardnerville.
Also in attendance will be their seven grandsons, Douglas, Matthew, Brian, Jason, Sean, Adam and Alex.
