Holman


1963-2006


Michael Kevin Holman, 43, died at his home, Sept. 8, 2006, after a lengthy illness. He was born April 1, 1963, in San Jose, Calif., and grew up in Simi Valley, Calif. He moved to Nevada about 20 years ago and has lived in Gardnerville for the past 14 years.


He is survived by his wife Natalie of Gardnerville; daughters Sara Catherine and Sarah Jayne; son Scott; mother Gayle Reanier; father Ron Holman; six brothers and sisters; and numerous nieces and nephews.


Arrangements are in the care of FitzHenry's Carson Valley Funeral Home in Gardnerville.




Domenick Melocchi


1925-2006


A memorial service for long-time Minden resident Domenick Melocchi, 81, will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Gall Catholic Church in Gardnerville.


Mr. Melocchi died Aug. 16, 2006 at the home of his daughter Paula Smith in Omaha, Neb.


Mr. Melocch was preceded in death by his son Domenick. He is survived by his wife Joan and five children, Paula of Omaha, Bruce Bohman of Gardnerville, Nick Melocchi of Studio City, Calif., Jill Cushing of Gardnerville and Marc Melocchi of Studio City Calif.; seven grandchildren and five grandchildren.




Dolores E. Schneider


1915-2006


Dolores E. Schneider, 90, of Gardnerville died Aug. 23, 2006, at Evergreen Healthcare. She was born Sept. 2, 1915 in Abilene, Texas and moved to Nevada in 2002. She is survived by sister Mabel Ruth Bible; nieces Debbie Bible, Teresa Bible Shell of California; daughter, Tina, of California; a niece, Louise Chamberlain and her husband George of Laughlin; a great nephew, Jim Wade and his three children, Dakota, Mason and Hunter, all of California and a cousin Rosalee Gillett of New Mexico.


Mrs. Schneider was Worthy Matron of two chapters of Eastern Star in California; one in Burbank, Calif. the other in Sutter Creek, Calif. She enjoyed doing many crafts, traveling, fishing and shopping.


She will be interred beside her husband, Ferdinand L. Schneider, World War II Veteran, at Eagle Point National Cemetery, in Eugene, Ore.
