Senior center activities planned

Activities take place at the Douglas County Senior Center, 2300 Meadow Lane in Gardnerville this week:

n Thursday - the Minden Caregiver's Support Group for Dementia seniors will have a meeting at the senior center at 2 p.m. All who are interested in the subject are invited to attend.

n Sunday - the Young at Heart Seniors' Club will conduct the monthly game of bingo. Doors open at noon. Early bird games commence at l p.m. and regular games at 1:30 p.m. Must be 21 years or older to play. The progressive for September is $550 on 57 numbers. The pot increqases by $50 each month and one number. If not won, the game continues for black-out for one half of the take.

Free coffee and snacks are provided. The snack bar sells hot dogs and chili. For details, call 267-4897.
