Volleyball: Lady Wolves take three straight wins



The Coleville volleyball team kept rolling over the last week, picking up three wins to improve to 9-1 for October.


Last Thursday, Coleville took a 25-18, 25-17, 25-15 win over Sierra Lutheran.


Kayla Johnson had six aces, three kills and three blocks and Kymberlee Curti had 11 kills.


Amara Rowley had five aces, two kills and one block to go with 15 assists and Kim Torley had three aces and two kills.


Kassie Pemberton had three aces and one kill.


Coleville then took down Eureka 25-12, 25-19, 25-18.


Curti had 10 kills, three aces, one block and one dig and Rowley had 14 assists, five aces and one kill.


Skyler Isbell had three aces, two kills and one block and Torley had three kills, one block and one assist.


Libero Tawny Booher had two digs and defensive specialist Ashley Boyd had one ace and one dig.


The Wolves then traveled to Virginia City Wednesday and won 25-15, 25-16, 25-15.


Rowley had 19 assists, two kills, two blocks and one ace.


Curti had 13 kills and one block.


Torley had four kills, two blocks and one ace and Isbell had four kills and three blocks.


Johnson had two kills and one block and Devin Nolan had one kills while Booher and Boyd each had one dig.


Coleville is now 16-5 overall and 10-0 in league play.
