The Carson Valley Arts Council is hosting its annual Gingerbread Decorating Contest at the Carson Valley Museum & Cultural Center from Dec. 1 through Dec. 16.

This event is sponsored in part by the Carson Valley Arts Council, Artistic Viewpoints Gallery, Douglas County Parks & Recreation and Lone Tree Gallery.
An artists' reception will be held Saturday afternoon on Dec. 16.
