Time to create a gingerbread house for the Carson Valley Arts Council's fourth annual Gingerbread House Decorating Contest during the Carson Valley Museum & Cultural Center's Gallery of Trees on Dec. 6.
The contest is open to individuals of all ages, families and community organizations. Ribbons will be presented to first- through third-place winners and to the People's Choice Award.
Entries must be delivered to the museum, 1477 Highway 395, Gardnerville, by 3:30 p.m. Dec. 5. Gingerbread houses will be displayed at the museum 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 6-13.
The Carson Valley Arts Council hosts an artisan's reception, 1-3 p.m. Dec. 13.
