Community invited to raffle and ice cream social

The Gardnerville Elementary School Parent/Teacher/Student Organization would like to invite the community to attend its Sixth Annual Charity Basket Raffle and Ice Cream Social, 5:30-8 p.m. Tuesday.

Each class has created a basket to be raffled off with all the proceeds going to charity. There will be 23 baskets and 20 different charities to support.

The raffle will begin at 7:30 and tickets are $1 at the door. Last year the basket raffle raised $4,500 for charities.
