Silk artist featured at gallery reception in Gardnerville


Visit with artist Louise Noel Howes 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at an artist reception in her honor at Artistic Viewpoints Gallery and Studio.


Howes is noted for her brilliant dyed silk images in the form of framed artwork and silk scarves. All of her pieces are originals depicting whimsical scenes. Her work will be featured in the gallery throughout the month of April.

Artistic Viewpoints has a full schedule of ongoing art classes from oils to pastels to watercolors, as well as various fun and instructional workshops from art marketing through instructional workshops, from art marketing to constructing prayer beads.

Ask for a schedule while attending the reception, or stop in the gallery to see the eclectic mix of art in the gallery Tuesday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
