AARP drivers safety course offered

An AARP Drivers Safety Course, 55 ALIVE, sponsored by the Indian Hills General Improvement District, will be Tuesday, beginning at 8:30 a.m. at the Indian Hills General Improvement District Board Room, 3394 James Lee Park Rd. in Indian Hills. Pre-registration is required. Call the Indian Hills office at 267-2805, ext. 28 to sign up. A $10 classroom fee, payable at the beginning of class, covers workbook and material costs.

AARP Driver Safety is a one-day classroom refresher course emphasizing age-related changes and how to compensate for them while behind the wheel of a vehicle. The purpose of the class is to help seniors continue to be safe drivers as long as possible. Those who complete the class may be eligible for a discount on their auto insurance.
