55 ALIVE driver safety course offered by AARP on Feb. 4

An AARP Driver Safety Course, 55 ALIVE, sponsored by Douglas County Senior Services, meets at the Douglas County Senior Center, 2300 Meadow Lane, Gardnerville, 8:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 4. Pre-registration is required. Call the senior center at 783-6455 to sign up. A $10 classroom fee, payable at the beginning of class, covers the workbook and material costs. The instructor is Irvine Phillips.

Those who complete the class may be eligible for a discount on their auto insurance.
