BASKETBALL


Andrea Honer, sr., F, Point Loma University: Out for the remainder of the year with a leg injury. Point Loma advanced to the conference championship game with wins over Westmont and Azusa Pacific.


Erin Brinkmeyer, fr., G, Redlands: Regular season.


Pat Carlson, fr., G/F, Butte College: Regular season over.


Nick Lonnegren, fr., G, Butte College: Regular season over.




BASEBALL


Shawn Estes, P, San Diego Padres: Made his first spring training start against the Royals Monday.


Chris Honer, Rfr., P, Point Loma: Honer picked up his second win of the year with two perfect innings of relief against Azusa Pacific.


Tommy Hoyle, jr., P, Mesa State: Struck out one and allowed one hit in a 14-9 loss to Western Oregon.


Cal Lewis, jr., 3B, South Dakota State: Went 2-for-4 with an RBI and a double in a 6-5 loss to Kansas State and went 1-for-3 with two RBIs and a home run in a 5-3 loss to Kansas State. He also went 1-for-3 with a double in an 8-6 loss to South Dakota State. Lewis tripled and scored his team's only run in a 12-1 loss to St. Louis Sunday.


Bryan Miller, soph., OF, Mesa College: Stats not available.


Chad Walling, fr., OF/INF/P, Western Nevada: No games last week. Walling has one double, five RBIs and three runs scored on the year in 10 games played and six starts. He's also pitched three innings and struck out four, allowing only one earned run.


Jimmy Pierce, fr., INF, Western Nevada: Pierce has scored two runs so far this season.






SOFTBALL


Kristy Olsen, soph., 3B/OF, Iowa State: Scored two runs in a 14-1 win over Central Connecticut State, went hitless in a 7-0 win over Vermont, went 1-for-3 with a run scored and a stolen base in a 5-1 win over Campbell, went 1-for-3 with a run scored in an 11-1 win over Charleston Southern, went hitless in a 4-2 win over UNC Greensboro, a 3-2 win over UNC WIlmington and a 4-2 win over Kennesaw State.


Brittany Puzey, fr., OF, Nevada: Was named the WAC player of the week last Monday. She went 1-for-2 in a 2-1 loss to UNLV to start the week, went hitless in a 6-5 loss to Virginia Tech, drew two walks in a 12-2 loss to Arizona State, went hitless in a 2-1 loss to Portland State and did not play in a 10-4 win over Southern Utah.


Kaycee Wilcks, soph., OF, Nevada: Went 2-for-3 with two RBIs in a 10-4 win over Southern Utah.


Valerie Smith, fr., C, Columbia: Started her collegiate career off brilliantly, hitting three home runs and driving five in her first two games. She started four games over the weekend and batted .533 to lead her team with seven RBIs and a double. She was also flawess behind the plate, collecting five assists and 23 putouts without an error.


Stevie Smith, soph., P/3B, Feather River: Stats not available.


Kayla Dunn, fr., P/SS, Feather River: Dunn hit two home runs and had four rBIs ina sweep of Quincy. She also pitched three innings, striking out six.
