10- and 20-year Douglas High reunions coming up

The Douglas High School class of 1986 will have their 20-year reunion the weekend of July 28-29. The celebration includes an informal gathering at the JT Basque Bar & Dining Room at 7 p.m. July 28 for cocktails; a family day will be at Cathy Hopkin's house July 29, food provided, directions provided at the JT. Adult-only dinner party will be July 29 in the Carson Valley Inn Shannon Ballroom, starting at 6 p.m. with an open bar from 6-7 p.m. and dinner served at 7 p.m. The cost is $45 per person, make checks payable to DHS 1986 Reunion and mail to Heidi Neilson (Feil), 4202 Kyle Drive, Wellington NV 89444. 1996 class reunion

The Douglas High School Class of 1996 will be having their 10-year reunion the weekend of July 28-30. July 28 will have an informal gathering at the JT Basque Bar & Dining Room at 8 p.m. July 29 there will be a family picnic at Minden Park at 11 a.m. followed by a semi-formal adult-only dinner party at the Two Guys From Italy Restaurant in Gardnerville at 7 p.m. The cost is $30 per person and there are multiple payment options.
