A celebration of life is 2 p.m. Sunday at the CVIC Hall in Minden for native Nevadan Harold E. Feil, who died Dec. 1, 2010, in Carson City after a brief battle with cancer.
Born Nov. 25, 1927, in Carson Valley to John and Elsie Feil, he lived in the Valley his entire life, which the exception of 18 months he served in the Korean War.
He owned Nevada Engine Sales for more than 20 years.
He is survived by wife Ellie West; children John (Jean) Feil and Heidi (Chris) Neilson; stepson Sean West; stepdaughter Marjorie West (Stephen) Barron; and granddaughter Sylvana.
Donations may be made to the East Fork Fire Burn Fund, 1694 County Road, Minden, NV 89423 in Mr. Feil's name.
