R-C Morning report

Firefighters are mopping up the 200-acre Flint fire east of Carson City. The cause of the fire is under investigation. East Fork Fire & Paramedic Districts units that went to Carson were released Sunday night.

The mercury today is supposed to crack 93 degrees with winds gusting up 26 mph in the afternoon.

The Weather Service is predicting a slight cooling trend, that will have the high temperature dropping a degree every day for the next five. There's a chance of precipitation on the Fourth of July.

Minden's centennial went off without a hitch as the town fed more than 1,800 people on Sunday. And now on to the next century.
